Health Career Impact – A Program of New Direction Health Care Solutions, Inc.

New Direction Health Care Solutions, Inc. is granted funds to sustain its work in Health Care from the Knoxville City Council’s African American Equity Restoration Task Force. Because the East part of Knoxville continues to be a “health desert” New Solution is mobilizing its “boots on the ground” approach to support the community. The City of Knoxville approved grant awards to 18 non-profits and New Direction was in the numbers. Its program approach will be named “HealthCareers Impact.” The goal will be to expose and encourage individuals to go into the healthcare field. “There are more opportunities in the healthcare field far beyond the obvious. Every facet of job opportunities exist from health provider to being an administrator of the entire facility. “Think Big, The Sky’s the Limit, states Executive Director, Cynthia J.
