On Tuesday, May 6th, we celebrated National Nurses Day on the lawn at 104 Lakeside St! The event was a heartwarming opportunity to show our appreciation to the amazing nurses who tirelessly care for our community. We want to emphasize how truly grateful we are for them and the incredible work they do every day.

Visitors who stopped by enjoyed a delicious cupcake and picked up a small gift as a token of gratitude. It was a beautiful day filled with smiles, stories, and heartfelt thanks to our healthcare heroes. In addition to the event, we made a few special gift deliveries to the dedicated staff at Oak St. Health to show our appreciation for their hard work and commitment to our community.

We are also excited to share that New Direction recently received a grant to expand health careers through our “Health Career Expand” initiative. This opportunity will help us continue to support and grow the healthcare workforce in our community.
